Iga Swiatek has ended her partnership with coach Wim Fissette following a second‑round loss to Magda Linette at the Miami Open.
The six‑time Grand Slam champion has struggled in 2026, with quarterfinal defeats at the Australian Open, Doha, and Indian Wells.
Swiatek, who teamed up with Fissette in October 2024 and won her first Wimbledon title under his guidance, thanked him for his support but said she is “taking a moment to process and prepare for a new chapter.”
The 24‑year‑old drops to world No. 3 after Elena Rybakina overtook her in the rankings.
