Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai has apologised to fans after his gestures following the 4-0 FA Cup loss to Manchester City were seen as sarcastic.
The midfielder insisted it was a “misunderstanding” and stressed his respect for supporters ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash with PSG.
“We’re going to go all in and give our best. Anything can happen in one game at Anfield,” he said, as Liverpool face elimination for the second straight season.
