A Moroccan appeal court has confirmed sentences for 18 Senegalese supporters jailed after violence at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final in Rabat.
Nine fans will serve one year in prison, six were given six months, and three received three-month terms due for release this weekend.
The case followed clashes after Senegal’s players walked off in protest at a refereeing decision.
Though Senegal won on the night, CAF later stripped them of the title and awarded Morocco a 3–0 forfeit victory.
Senegal has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
