Manchester City striker Antoine Semenyo has revealed new racial abuse directed at him this season, sharing offensive comments on Instagram with the words “it’s started again.”
The Ghana international, 26, first reported abuse in August while at Bournemouth, leading to charges against a Liverpool spectator whose trial begins on 22 April.
City say they are supporting Semenyo, while the Premier League and FA have been asked for comment.
His case adds to a growing list of racist incidents targeting players across the league.
