The Uganda U-17 Women’s National Team (Teen Cranes) continued training at the FUFA Kadiba Grounds ahead of the 2026 CECAFA U-17 Women’s Championship, set for June 13–23 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
After Wednesday morning’s session, players Rashidah Nakalema and Acen Immaculate expressed confidence in the team’s preparations.
“I will rate myself at six because I created a number of chances and improved ball possession,” said Acen.
Nakalema noted that the team has undergone intense training with emphasis on possession under pressure.
“With the tactics the coach introduced and the kind of training we are having, I believe I will be a better player by the time we play in the tournament,” she added.
The Teen Cranes resumed training on Thursday at FUFA Kadiba Grounds and will face South Sudan, Zanzibar, and Djibouti in the group stage.
