A man who ran onto the court during game one of the NBA Finals in San Antonio has been arrested and banned for life from all league arenas.
He filmed himself approaching Spurs star Victor Wembanyama before security intervened. Wembanyama said he was “really surprised” by the incident.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver condemned the act, warning that major events give “an enormous platform to do stupid things.” Extra security is planned for Madison Square Garden if President Donald Trump attends later games.
