Uganda is set to make a strong impression on the international sports stage as six schools and a national team prepare to represent the country at the prestigious International Schools Federation (ISF) Gymnasiade in Manama, Bahrain.
The ISF Gymnasiade, scheduled to take place from October 23rd to 31st, will feature a wide range of sports disciplines, including basketball (3×3), table tennis, badminton, lawn tennis, swimming, and athletics.
Seroma Christian High School will be leading the charge with participation in basketball (3×3), swimming, and table tennis.
Mbogo Schools, Kibuli SS, and Rubaga Girls’ School will also be represented in various racket sports.
The Ugandan contingent will be looking to build upon the country’s recent successes in international school sports competitions, including the Federation of East Africa Schools Sports Associations (FEASSA) games, where Uganda emerged as overall champions.
The ISF Gymnasiade in Bahrain promises to be a major sporting event, attracting athletes from around the world.
