Mountain Dew 3X3 Tour: The Quest for National Basketball Glory

Mountain Dew is set to elevate the game of basketball in Uganda with its sponsorship of the National 3X3 Tournament, boasting a significant prize pool of Shs200 million.

This tournament promises to be a showcase of skill and talent, providing a platform for both male and female players under 25 years old to compete at the highest level starting on Saturday, October 19.

The tournament will consist of seven qualifying stops across Uganda, with each stop serving as a crucial qualifier for the grand finale scheduled for December 7th in Kampala.

The series will kick off in major locations, including; Kampala (two venues), Mbarara, Gulu, Mukono, Mbale, and Jinja.

This nationwide reach aims to engage young athletes from all regions, ensuring that local talent is recognized and celebrated.

The competition will feature enticing rewards for participants. At each qualifying stop, the winning team will earn UGX 400,000, while the runners-up will take home UGX 200,000.

The stakes are high as the overall champions of the National 3X3 Tournament will be awarded an impressive Shs2 million, with the finalists receiving Shs1 million.

The Mountain Dew 3X3 Tour not only aims to crown the best young players in the country but also serves as a vital opportunity for grassroots basketball development.

By sponsoring this tournament, Mountain Dew is committed to nurturing the next generation of basketball stars in Uganda.

As excitement builds ahead of the tournament, basketball enthusiasts and fans are encouraged to rally behind their local teams, celebrating the spirit of competition and sportsmanship.
