Busoga United vs Arua Hill SC
FUFA Technical Center, Njeru
Monday, December 12
Busoga United will host their first game at FUFA Technical Centre Njeru this season when they face off with Arua Hill.
The students have been hosting games at Kakindu this season where things haven’t turned out as wished.
They have lost their last four games at Kakindu, failing to score a single goal during that spell – URA (0-4), Gaddafi (0-1), Express (0-3) and Bright Stars (0-1).
A move to Njeru, which is an artificial turf, joins them with BUL as the two teams at the venue while Gaddafi remains in Kakindu.
But Busoga United comes into this encounter on the back of a 3-2 victory away at Wakiso Giants, in a game Laban Tibita inspired a late comeback.
Arua Hill on the other hand, start the day in eighth place (8) with 16 points after 11 games and will be hoping for a positive result away from home.
The Kongolos come into this fixture on the back of a 1-0 loss against BUL at Barifa but their last trip was a 1-0 victory against Express at Wankulukuku.
Arua Hill beat Busoga United home and away last season, with Alfred Leku scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win at Njeru.
Busoga United will be without Laban Tibita who has accumulated three yellow cards, Douglas Mulabi, Franco Balabala, Dan Ssewava, Andrew Ssekandi, Hussein Sajjabi, George Kalyowa and Derrick Basoga are also out with injuries.
For Arua Hill welcome back Joseph Bright Vuni and Richard Anyama from two-game suspension. Geriga Atendele, Samuel Ssekamatte, Rashid Kawawa, Innocent Media and Ibrahim Faizul are likely to miss out.
