Speaker of Parliament Anita Among has officially flagged off the Uganda parliamentary sports team as they head to Mombasa, Kenya, for the 14th East African Community (EAC) Inter-Parliamentary Games.
The ceremony took place at Parliament on Wednesday morning, with legislators and staff rallying behind the team ahead of their departure.
The team, which includes footballers, netball players, and volleyball teams, is set to compete with counterparts from Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Sudan, and Burundi.
