Nile Special Uganda Rugby Premier League Returns this weekend

The Nile Special Uganda Rugby Premier League Actions return this weekend with game week 6, with the Kobs taking on the Plascon Mongers at Legend.

The Kobs side has only lost one game this season, and that was to the Heathens in their home stadium, thanks to Aaron Ofoyewoth’s last-minute kick that became decisive for the Heathens to secure the win.

The Kobs have so far played 5 games and won 4 with 21 points and 2nd on the table 2 points away from Stanbic Black Pirates who have not yet registered a win this seasons.
The Plascon Mongers, on the other hand, sit sixth on the table, having registered two wins in five games with 9 points.
In more action tomorrow, the Makerere-based side Impis, who have won all five of their games, will visit the Platinum Credit Heathens at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds to seek a sixth victory this season.

The defending champion Platinum Credit Heathens are how ever not winning to take another loss this season, having lost to the Stanbic Black Pirates in the season’s opener. They are currently 3rd on the table with four wins and 20 points.
The Makerere-based side Impis are 4th on the table with 20 points as well, thanks to Henry Nsekuye, who keeps grabbing for them massive points in almost every game with penalty kicks and conversions.

The Jinja Hippos will host the Toyota Buffaloes at Dam Waters to seek a victory after losing a closely contested game against the Platinum Credit Heathens in game week 5.
Stanbic Black Pirates are yet to register another win as they host struggling side Rams at Kings Park Arena, who haven’t registered a win this season and are 9th on the table of 10 teams.

Walukuba Barbarians, who secured their first victory this season last weekend, will host Rhinos Rugby, who haven’t seen any wins yet and are 10th on the table and likely getting relegated if they don’t improve. The game will be played at the Walukuba grounds.
The Kobs vs. Plascon Mongers game will be broadcast live on NBS Sport, and kickoff time is set for 3 p.m.
