Nottingham Forest Netball have paid tribute to Ugandan international Faridah Kadondi following her departure after a standout season in the Netball Super League.
The She Cranes goal defender and goalkeeper joined Forest in September 2024, making seven key appearances in what was the club’s debut campaign.
Her impact was felt not just in defence but in the spirit and culture she helped build within the team.
Kadondi, who arrived at Forest with a strong reputation from her performances in Uganda, quickly became a fan favorite thanks to her energy, professionalism, and presence on court.
Her contributions helped the team secure an impressive fifth-place finish in their inaugural season.
Head Coach Chelsea Pitman described Faridah as “pure sunshine,” praising her influence both on and off the court.
“Faridah brought pure sunshine, both in who she is and the energy she gave to the group. She will be missed, and we wish her all the very best in her next steps,” Pitman said.
Forest also said goodbye to young English shooter Freya Henshall, who will remain at the club through the NXT Gen program.
But for Kadondi, the journey continues elsewhere as she looks to take the next step in her netball career after helping lay the foundation at Forest.
