I&M Bank Uganda once again demonstrated its strong sense of teamwork and industry engagement at the 2025 Bankers Sports Gala held on October 19 at Kyambogo University.
The annual event, organized by the Uganda Institute of Banking and Financial Services in partnership with the Uganda Bankers Association, brought together more than 20 banks for a day of friendly competition and camaraderie across multiple sporting disciplines.
From athletics and football to basketball, tug of war, sack races, and bottle balancing, I&M Bank actively participated in every category, showing both energy and unity throughout the day.
Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer Sam Ntulume represented Chief Executive Officer Robin Bairstow in the CEO walk race, highlighting the bank’s strong leadership presence at the event.
Beyond the games, the gala offered banking professionals a chance to unwind, reconnect, and strengthen relationships within the financial sector.
It also served as a unique networking platform, allowing executives and staff from different institutions to share ideas and experiences in an informal setting.
The Bankers Sports Gala has grown into a much-anticipated annual fixture on the industry calendar, promoting wellness, collaboration, and friendship among Uganda’s banking community.
With each edition attracting more participation, the event continues to reinforce the spirit of teamwork that drives the sector forward.
