Williams Racing will use a new Gulf-themed livery at this weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix, marking the team’s third special design change of the 2025 season.
The unique design incorporates a word chosen by fans in an online poll that drew over 140,000 votes. The winning word, “legacy,” received 7,700 votes and is woven into the car’s aesthetic.
Team Principal James Vowles stated that the campaign brought the partnership “to life,” adding, “it will be a privilege to race every lap in Brazil with the passion and emotion of our fans woven into this beautiful design on the car.”
Williams previously used a retro 2002-style livery at the US Grand Prix and made a subtle change at the British Grand Prix earlier this year.
This latest design revives the iconic Gulf colours last seen on a Williams car in 2023.
