Five-time champions D-Mark Power will target a third straight season win when they face newcomers JT Jaguars in tonight’s National Basketball League action.
The Moses Okwera coached side have picked up back-to-back wins against JKL Dolphins and Kampala Rockets.
A win will see the side climb from the bottom of the log having played four games thus far, the fewest of all teams in the men’s league.
With sights set on a deep run in the playoffs this season, the experienced roster will fancy their chances against a JT Jaguars outfit that have won three and lost three of their six games so far.
Sudi Ulanga’s charges on the other hand, will look to guards Kevin Moru, Mark Were and forward Abubakar Kasasa as part of a squad that features experienced Rwandese guard Yesman Bushiri and season big man Fadhil Chuma.
The game will be broadcast live on NBS Sport at 9pm with the women’s game pitting record winners UCU Lady Canons against Magic Stormers at 7pm at the Lugogo indoor arena.
