In their first showdown against the JKL Lady Dolphins, the KIU Rangers displayed exceptional teamwork and resilience, clinching a hard-fought victory with a final score of 55-50. Following their triumphant performance against the JKL Lady Dolphins, the KIU Rangers faced off against the UCU Lady Canons in their second game of the week. Despite their best efforts, they encountered a formidable challenge and suffered a defeat with a final scoreline of 66-46.
The UCU Lady Canons showcased an impressive collective effort during their matchup against the KIU Rangers. Leading the charge was Shakirah Nanvubya, whose dynamic performance on both ends of the court earned her recognition as a standout player. Nanvubya’s scoring ability, coupled with her defensive contributions, played a pivotal role in securing victory for the Lady Canons.
Additionally, Shillah Lamunu Aber emerged as a force in the paint, dominating the boards with her rebounding prowess and providing crucial support on offence. Together, Nanvubya and Aber spearheaded the Lady Canons’ relentless pursuit of success, demonstrating their impact as key contributors to the team’s triumph over the KIU Rangers.
With the results, KIU Rangers are third on the standings while UCU Lady Canons are in second place behind KCCA Leopards. JKL Lady Dolphins are fifth with 17 points.
