A1 Challenge Basketball Club emerged victorious over the YMCA Lady Hamstars in a nail-biting encounter with a final score of 71-62 at the YMCA Kampala Arena.
Leading the charge for A1 Challenge was a stellar performance by Sera Yaweh scoring an impressive 20 points. Sharua Nakirya and Stella Kiberenge also had stand out performances to help A1 Challenge take home all the points.
On the opposing side, the YMCA Lady Hamstars fought valiantly to maintain their foothold in the game. Njeru Agnes led the charge with an impressive 20 points, but her efforts weren’t enough as the Lady Hamstars fell short against the relentless pressure exerted by the A1 Challenge squad.
With this hard-fought victory, A1 Challenge continues their fight to finish in the playoff places. They are currently 9th with 14 points while the YMCA Lady Hamstars are 11th with 12 points.
