President Justus Mugisha also shared updates on the preparations for the FEASSSA games, proudly noting Uganda’s role as host for the sixth time, marking the first occasion they will be held in Eastern Uganda. The FEASSSA games are slated for Bukedea Comprehensive School and Amus College from August 16th to 27th. Plans include the construction of a stadium at Amus College, accompanied by multiple playgrounds.

The event is expected to draw approximately 3,500 participants, with notable international attendees such as Laurent Petrynka, President of the International School Sport Federation (ISF), and various representatives from ISF and the Federation of Africa School Sports (FASS).

Upcoming events on the USSSA calendar include ongoing ball games II qualifiers across the country, a Swimming Gala at Seroma Christian High School, and the ISF Gymnasiade School Summer Games scheduled for October 23rd to 31st in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
