Cricket Cranes’ Ramjani Honored with T20I Team of the Year Red Cap

Alpesh Ramjani, a prominent all-rounder for the Ugandan national cricket team, has been awarded the ICC Men’s T20I Team of the Year red cap for his outstanding performances in 2023. Ramjani’s exceptional contributions with both bat and ball have earned him this prestigious recognition.

In 2023, Ramjani amassed 449 runs at a strike rate of 132.44, showcasing his capability to accelerate the scoring rate effectively in the T20 format.

Ramjani, who was born in Mumbai, India, on September 24, 1994, has been a key figure for Uganda, bringing his extensive skills and experience to the team.

As a left-handed batsman and slow left-arm orthodox bowler, his versatility and consistent performances have made significant contributions to Uganda’s successes in international cricket.

The red cap is awarded annually to the most outstanding players in the ICC Men’s T20I Team of the Year, highlighting those who have delivered exceptional performances throughout the year. Ramjani’s inclusion in this elite group underscores his impact and excellence on the global stage.

This accolade marks a significant milestone in Ramjani’s career, further establishing him as one of the top performers in international T20 cricket.
