Former Cricket Cranes captain, Brian Masaba, has lauded his team’s performance against Papua New Guinea during their recent tour games at Entebbe Cricket Club.
Despite a 2-2 draw in the series, Masaba believes the matches served as valuable preparation for the upcoming South African tour.
With the South African tour on the horizon, the Cricket Cranes are gearing up to face the Titans Franchise. The team is scheduled to depart for South Africa next week, and Masaba expressed optimism about their chances of success.
“The PNG tour was a great test for us,” Masaaba said. “We learned a lot and improved our tactics. Now, we’re focused on the South African tour and are confident that we can do well.”
The South African tour will serve as a crucial warm-up for the Cricket World Cup Challenge League B series, which will be hosted in Uganda from November 5th to 16th.
The series is a vital step in the Cricket Cranes’ journey towards qualification for the ICC Cricket World Cup.
