The Cricket Cranes are in South Africa for a training tour ahead of the Challenge League B tournament, which will be hosted in Uganda from November 4th to 16th.
The training tour, which started on Monday, September 30th, will run until October 12th.
A squad of sixteen players is in South Africa for the preparation tour, with Brian Masaba missing out due to an injury sustained during the PNG series.
Joseph Baguma, Kenneth Waiswa, and Roger Mukasa, who were not part of the PNG series squad, have been called up.
The Cricket Cranes will play at least six 50-over games against select sides in South Africa.

Simon Ssesazi, Dinesh Nakrani, Riazat Ali Shah, Alpesh Ramjani, Henry Ssenyondo, Frank Nsubuga, Robinson Obuya, Juma Miyagi, Cosmas Kyewuta, Raghav Dawani, Pascal Murungi, Cyrus Kakuru, Joseph Baguma, Roger Mukasa, Kenneth Waiswa, and Fred Achellam.
Uganda will be hoping to reach the finals of the Challenge B tournament to progress to the next round of Qualifiers.
The Cricket Cranes will face Hong Kong, Bahrain, Italy, Singapore and Tanzania in the Challenge B.
