Red Bull’s Christian Horner has again dismissed speculation about Max Verstappen’s future, emphasizing the reigning champion’s commitment to the team.
Following the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Horner reiterated that Verstappen’s focus “is here” despite earlier concerns raised by Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko.
Amid a mixed start to the season where McLaren has emerged as a strong competitor, Verstappen had fielded questions about his plans beyond 2025.
Horner previously labeled the rumors as “an awful lot of noise,” stating Verstappen “has made it very clear he’s part of the team.”
After Verstappen’s pole position and subsequent race battle in Jeddah, Horner insisted the “noise has been out there and not in here.” He affirmed Verstappen’s hard work and collective team spirit, stating, “We win together and we lose together.”
Verstappen currently sits third in the drivers’ standings, while Red Bull is third in the teams’ championship.
Horner’s repeated message aims to solidify the team’s unity as they head to the Miami Grand Prix.
