Barcelona sporting director Deco has revealed the club’s “liking” for Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford and Liverpool’s Luis Diaz, confirming speculation linking the Premier League forwards with a move to the Catalan giants.
While Diaz has two years left on his Liverpool contract, Rashford, currently on loan at Aston Villa, is reportedly available for around £40 million.
Despite the interest in new signings, Deco stressed that Barcelona’s immediate focus is on securing contract renewals for key existing players like Lamine Yamal, Pedri, and Gavi, calling such extensions “the best signing in history.”
He also indicated a desire to add a winger with a “different profile” to the squad.
