Gervonta “Tank” Davis and Jake Paul are slated to face off in a highly anticipated exhibition boxing match in Miami on November 14.
The bout, which will not affect their professional records, has drawn criticism due to the significant weight disparity between the two fighters.
MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian confirmed the exhibition will be 10 three-minute rounds, with a winner declared by three ringside judges.
Both men will wear 12oz gloves and undergo USADA testing. The maximum weight for the fight is set at 195lb (88kg), a point of contention given the massive weight difference between lightweight champion Davis and cruiserweight Paul.
Both fighters expressed confidence, with Paul aiming for a knockout and Davis emphasizing his quicker speed over Paul’s size advantage.
