Pierre Gasly has regained third place at the Monaco Grand Prix after Alpine overturned his pit‑lane speeding penalties.
Stewards accepted Alpine’s data showing Gasly never exceeded the 60km/h limit, correcting a calculation error caused by pit‑lane changes.

The ruling restores Alpine’s first podium of the season and boosts Gasly to eighth in the championship. George Russell, who fell from third to 13th with a drive‑through penalty, remains the biggest loser from the controversy.
Oscar Piastri drops to fifth, while Lewis Hamilton’s penalty left his second place untouched.
