With seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton set to take his place at Ferrari, Sainz finds himself at a crossroads, contemplating his next move in the dynamic world of motorsport. Amidst speculation linking him to various teams, including Mercedes and the future Audi-backed Stake outfit, Sainz has outlined his priorities in selecting his next F1 venture.

Amidst the buzz of preseason testing, Sainz remains cautiously optimistic about his prospects, acknowledging that decisions regarding his next move are imminent. “I am already working on the next stage of my career, which will be decided in the coming months, ideally before summer,” remarked Sainz.

Sainz emphasized the importance of finding a project that offers immediate competitiveness while also prioritizing stability for the medium to long term.

“I’m looking for a project that allows me to win and perform as soon as possible,” stated Sainz

However, Sainz also underscored the significance of stability and synergy between the drivers and the team in building a strong partnership.

“I’m also considering stability and its importance to a project, both in the medium and long term. Stability is key in building a strong team where both the team and the driver understand each other,” remarked Sainz.

Asked about the possibility of joining Red Bull, given that his father was seen conversing with Red Bull’s Director and Head of Driver Development, Helmut Marko, Sainz downplayed speculation, emphasizing the routine nature of such interactions in the sport.

As the countdown to the Bahrain Grand Prix begins, all eyes are on Carlos Sainz as he embarks on his final chapter with Ferrari, fueled by the desire to leave a lasting legacy and etch his name among Formula 1’s elite.
